CATEGORIES FOR THE 2016 ANNUAL SHOW:
1. BROADCAST ADVERTISING
Includes single/campaign of all consumer TV and Radio.
2. ONLINE BRANDED ENTERTAINMENT
Online video, movie, or webisode that clearly identifies a brand and furthers its position. Online content cannot have been broadcast on TV or Radio.
3. DESIGN – 3-DIMENSIONAL PACKAGING / PRODUCT
Includes 3D commercial packaging and product design.
4. DESIGN – ENVIRONMENTAL
Branded design collateral, which includes in-store, at point-of-sale, billboards, outdoor transit, kiosks, and wayfinding.
5. DESIGN – BROADCAST
Includes title credits, show reels, graphics, music videos, sound design, animated shorts, etc.
6. DESIGN – LOGO DEVELOPMENT
Includes all logo, mark, and logotype development.
7. DIGITAL ADVERTISING**
Includes single/campaign of interactive elements, such as websites, web banners, emails, web applications, and social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) pages.
**If including websites or web apps, the site/app must be part of a campaign accompanied by other interactive entries. Single website/app entries should be entered into the Web Design category or Web App Design category only.
Includes advertising, poster, music jacket, packaging, book cover, editorial, for sale, institutional, infographic, etc.
9. MIXED-MEDIA CAMPAIGNS
Includes elements from two or more separate media, such as print and digital.
Includes singles and series of advertising, book, editorial, for sale, institutional.
11. PRINT ADVERTISING
Includes single/campaign of consumer/trade newspaper and magazine, posters, direct mail, brochures, book design, brand development, etc.
12. PRINTING EXCELLENCE
Includes annual reports, marketing and promotional materials, packaging and labels, stationery 1-3 colors and 4 plus colors. This category is intended for the company who physically printed the piece, not those who designed the printed piece.
13. PUBLIC SERVICE
Includes all work produced for the public good for a non-profit or organization
Includes all work for individuals, agencies beyond basic brand identity.
15. WEBSITE DESIGN
Includes all custom built/designed sites, preferably displayed across multiple platforms (Desktop, tablet, phone).
16. WEB APP DESIGN
Includes all UI/UX and graphic design for applications that run over the internet through a web browser onto small, wireless computing devices.
All work must have been produced in Colorado or the surrounding states between June 30, 2015 and June 30, 2016.
