Michael Garcia

Public Figure, LGBTQ Advocate, Speaker, Socialite and winner of this year’s 303 Magazine’s Best Instagrammer-Fan Favorite.

Why do you volunteer with Art Directors Club of Denver? I love the Art Directors Club! I think it does a great job of displaying different types of arts! Not only with the Paper Fashion Show but with all the events they have year long.

Why do you think ADCD is valuable to the creative community? It’s valuable because I believe art is an amazing way to express yourself and it can help you get through anything. It’s very therapeutic.

How do you contribute to the arts? I contribute to the arts by supporting and encouraging everyone to embrace their artistic side and by volunteering for things like the Paper Fashion Show.

What advice would you give to young creatives? I would say to follow your dreams. You can always be as creative and as unique as possible! Don’t be afraid to stand out!!

How do you balance volunteering for ADCD with your professional and personal life? I think I balance it pretty well. It’s all about time management. If you are truly passionate about a cause you will work hard to stay committed.
