Temporary Academic Professional Lecturer of Graphic Design


One Year half-time temporary Academic Professional Lecturer of Graphic Design, benefitted.  Begin August 2012. Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching alongside current Graphic Design Faculty in an established curriculum.  Courses include: Digital Media, Graphic Design I, Print Production and Computer Graphics I and II.


* MFA in Graphic Design preferred, All but degree applications will be considered.
* Candidate should possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a studio oriented department.
* Teaching and professional experience preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus

Complete application package to include: resume, letter of intent, teaching philosophy, undergraduate/graduate transcripts, 20 images of recent work (documentation of creative research), 20 images of student work on CD/DVD (readable for both Mac & PC), separate list of images, and a link to website if available (please note: website information will be referenced after we have viewed the samples of creative research and student work submitted), sample syllabi and course packets if applicable, and names, addresses and phone numbers of three references.
