How did you end up in Colorado?
I was born and raised in the small ski town of Steamboat Springs, so when I graduated from high school I couldn’t wait to move to the “big city” for college. After graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins I spent several years moving back and forth between Fort Collins and Denver. In November 2013 I purchased my first house in Lakewood in order to be closer to the talented Denver creative community and am here to stay.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Each day is a new adventure that I am privileged to share with incredibly gifted people.
Why did you get involved in ADCD?
One of my college mentors, Nikki Arnell, started bringing me to ADCD events and board meetings during my undergrad. I slowly started attending and volunteering for more events because I loved the people, was having a lot of fun, and wanted to be more involved in the creative community. Six years later I’m leading the board and impacting the community in ways I never thought possible.
