John McEvoy is a life-long Colorado native who has explored every corner of the state with his camera. Currently a full time student at Metropolitan State College in Denver, he is working toward a Journalism degree with the goal of combining his photography skills and his love of writing in order to publish compelling multimedia human interest stories.
John has been freelancing for publications with photographs and articles published in American Photo, Adventure West, Asphalt Angels, Business Week, Colorado Expression, Country Inns Bed And Breakfasts, Destination Colorado, Relax, Science of Mind, and the West Elk Loop Scenic Byway Guidebook.
“Each of us has a story to tell. The rich complexities that every individual experiences during their lifetime can help others to learn valuable lessons. I love to hear these stories. Then I visually record the story tellers in order to compile a print ready feature piece as well as a high quality audio visual presentation ready for the Web or video. I do this in hope of inspiring others. This is my passion.
